Yat was born and raised in Austria. He moved to HK in 1995 and set up HK’s first internet service provider, eventually sold to IBM. His company Animoca Brands is focused on providing true digital ownership to games through use of blockchain technology.

𝐆𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞:

Yat is an entrepreneur and angel investor focused on internet and technology companies in Hong Kong.  He is Co-founder of Animoca Brands and Outblaze.  Animoca aims to be a world-leader by delivering true digital ownership to gamers by use of blockchain technology.  Outblaze focuses primarily on digital consumer entertainment.

Born and raised in Austria, and having studied Music and Arts, Yat started his tech career with Atari in Germany.  He moved to HK in 1995 to establish HK’s first internet service provider company.

Yat has won several prestigious awards over the years, including, Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.  He is also Director of Asian Youth Orchestra and a member of British Academy of Film & Television Arts.
