𝐆𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞:

Karena Belin is Co-founder of two sister companies: 𝐖𝐇𝐮𝐛 and 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐇𝐮𝐛.

Karena is originally from Germany, with bachelor’s degree from Mannheim University and MBA from ESSEC Paris. She worked for 15 years with P&G across Europe, North East Asia and Greater China before moving to HK with her family.

It was in HK where Karena developed her true entrepreneurial passion. 𝐖𝐇𝐮𝐛, HK’s largest startup community, is a community builder, power connector and ecosystem accelerator helping startups get to the resources that they need all along their lifecycle. 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐇𝐮𝐛, HK’s first SFC-licensed startup investment platform, brings startups and investors together; democratizing early-stage investment opportunity to a broader audience and not just the institutional investors.

Karena serves as a speaker, mentor and judge at events and organizations such as APK, Chicago Booth GNVC, Google Eye, Rise Conference and many other organisations, her list is endless.

Besides her profession, Karena is a very active mother of her three kids and serves as President of ‘Parent Faculty Organization’ at Hong Kong International School (HKIS). She is an adventure enthusiast and is often found on the HK trails.
