Sam’s Tailor is the premiere bespoke tailor in Hong Kong. The shop was founded in 1957 by Sam Melwani and is currently run by his two sons Manu and Sham Melwani, and grandson Roshan Melwani.

The shop is famous for it’s A-list clientele from all over the world. Some prominent ones include Queen Elizabeth II, Ronald Reagan, Prince Phillip, Prince Charles, George Bush, Bill Clinton, Margaret Thatcher, Tony Blair, Michael Jackson, Boris Becker, Richard Gere and many more. Until HK handover in 1997, Sam’s Tailor were one of the main uniform tailors for British troops in HK.

Sam’s Tailor was honored with a postage stamp on the 50th anniversary of its founding.
