Yogananth Andiappan hails from India and is the son of a well-renowned Yoga Guru Dr. Asana Andiappan. Yogananth began his yogic journey at the age of 2. Today, he stands among the most accomplished in the field: By age 30, Yogananth completed both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Yogic Science and Naturopathy. He has completed a Ph.D. at the Sport University of India, studying the effects of yoga therapy and natural yogic diet on cancer patients.
Yogananth is Founder and Director of Anahata Yoga in Hong Kong, and has carved himself a great niche. He believes that Yoga is training of mind and not just practice of postures. In addition to managing a successful business venture, Yogananth strives to serve the community at large by making Yoga accessible to everyone especially the economically disadvantaged.
Yogananth has won numerous state, national, and international Yoga Championship titles. He teaches in Yoga conferences, conducts workshops, demonstrations, and Teacher Trainings across the world. His recent high quality coffee table yoga book “Yoga from the Heart” is a good inspiration guide for yoga lovers and art lovers alike.
