Frank Tang is Founder, Chairman & CEO of FountainVest Partners, one of the largest China-focused private equity firms based in HK, with close to USD 5 Billion under management.

Founded in 2007, FountainVest has raised 3 USD funds and 1 RMB fund, with offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing. ย FountainVest is especially interesting to any media, sports and fitness company. ย It owns Pure Fitness and Pure Yoga; and is a major investor in Amer Sports, owner of premier outdoor sports brands such as Arcโ€™teryx, Salomon, Atomic, and Wilson. ย It was a key investor in IMAX China (including Hong Kong) and Focus Media (the largest outdoor media company in China).ย 

Previously, Frank worked with Temasek Holdings and Goldman Sachs, where he started his career in New York before moving to Hong Kong.ย  Frank earned his MBA from Columbia Business School โ€“ where he is a member of its board of overseers โ€“ and his bachelorโ€™s degree from Donghua University.
